America’s Best Inn in St. Petersburg, Florida is one of the oldest operating hotels in town. The inn has gone through numerous ownership changes and has received several new names over the years. Besides the “Macon Hotel” it was known as the “Moulton Hotel” and later the “Lee Manor Inn” which many return guests still remember. In 2004 the inn was franchised with America’s Best Inns & Suites, but is still privately owned and operated. The exterior hasn’t changed at all and on the inside the inn is still very much what it was way back then: cozy and warm with all the modern day conveniences a traveler seeks in the 21st century. To uphold the original charm, the inn has also kept many of the antique furnishings from years past and is continuously adding new jewels to this downtown treasure.
